PRACTICE & PLAN: |
STEP 2: Choose final shape and impression design - DRAW TO SCALE (actual size) in sketchbook with FULL DESIGN & color; What size and how will you make them? What handle?
STEP 3: What do you need to practice? What don't you know how to build (ie how to dart; your design on clay) What do you not know the outcome of? which impression mat/ roller? WHICH GLAZE? how will you choose to show the design? STEP 4: Choose/ Make Template |

STEP 5: CREATE cups/ mugs according to template
STEP 6: Add handles (use handle mold) STEP 7: Name/ Year on bottom; Place on Greenware shelf (to be fired) STEP 8: Bisque Fired STEP 9: Apply Cone 5-6 glaze in layers, Place on Cone 5-6 shelf WITH KILN TICKET for Glaze Fire |
